Are you looking to thoughtfully get in shape? We can provide a totally personalized training routine for you specific to the sport, yoga,  dance or other recreational activity that you love. We will begin by examining your current condition and your goals for moving forward. We will analyze the sport, hobby or other activity that you wish to improve upon. The exercises and routines we chose will be tailored to assure that you gain strength, mobility and endurance in a fashion that best supports success with your chosen activities.

In need of some guidance and structure to help get you on the path to recovery from a year of being indoors? Are you someone who has tried on your own to start a walking program or other exercise but feel unmotivated, or just too weak to make any progress?

I can work with you to determine what specific exercise, endurance and conditioning goals make sense fo your lifestyle and your past relationship with exercise (if any). We will start with an assessment of your current condition, and very gradually build an exercise program that may consist of therapeutic exercises to be done at home or outdoors, aerobic conditioning activity that can be full of dance steps or just a walking plan. If working out in a gym is your goal, we can advise you on safe use of gym equipment.

We will develop a program  that you will feel good about doing regularly to initiate your return to fitness. We will check in at least weekly in the beginning, tailoring the program with changes and additions as needed to assure that you succeed in your goals of becoming more fit and sticking with an exercise program that you enjoy!

Have you had a surgery or illness that interrupted your ability to exercise? Have you tried in the past to be diligent about a routine exercise program but have not had success? If you are fearful of initiating a program, or have concerns about resuming a previous exercise program or fitness activity, I can help analyze the history of your condition and train you to safely return to an activity you love, or start a new one. 

Through understanding the specifics of your medical history, we will assure a gradual, safe and effective return to participating in the exercises and activities that you wish to resume.  Over time, you will regain your strength and endurance.
