Testimonials

Jacquie Kay

Lynn has been superb in treating and assessing my ever-changing needs over the past 20 years. Initially for bursitis, sciatica, and fibromyalgia.   Lynn’s work with subtle approaches of Myofascial Release and Craniosacral therapy, as well as her knowledge and skill of exercise and alignment, have truly helped me enjoy my Tai Chi and swimming.
I had tried other types of massage and acupuncture but kept coming back to Lynn.  Currently I am seeing her after a fall from vertigo which resulted in a broken jaw.  Lynn always solicits information from the patient which is very rare among most medical professionals.   I have already recommended her to my ophthalmologist and my neurologist  for CranioSacral Therapy  which helps with my head and neck issues.  Lynn continues to deepen her knowledge, (currently in terms of dental issues with regards to face, neck and head pain) which is most impressive.  I have also recommended her to my PCP at the geriatric center of Mount Auburn Hospital for her specialized skills and sensitivity to patients’ problems; and for her genuine sense of caring and ability to heal.  One cannot find a more comprehensive , focused physical therapist who can diagnose, provide healing and integrate one’s physical and mental systems toward renewal and resilience for the body.  I have gained priceless support and wellness from seeing Lynn and cannot recommend her highly enough.

Lynn is an incredible healer. I’ve been working with her for craniosacral work as I go through palette expansion and she has been incredible to work with. She is naturally very curious, engaging and has a depth of experience in cranio and PT work. Added bonus is she is a great collaborator with my myo functional therapist and dentist. I am so grateful to work with Lynn on my healing journey and highly recommend her for anyone that needs PT or cranio work, especially as it relates to palette expansion and tongue ties for adults and children.

Lynn Dreyfus has been my physical therapist on and off for several years.  I first met her at the physical therapy department of Mount Auburn Hospital after my knee replacement surgery there four years ago.    Subsequently, with Lynn’s private practice,  I have benefitted from her visits  to my home for severe cauda equina syndrome and a partial paralysis due to delayed surgical  intervention of a rare condition.  Lynn is notably kind, caring and seriously engaged in helping me.  She is knowledgeable, skilled and ever resourceful in keeping the exercises and activity for strengthening, stretching, and balance fun and appropriate to my condition. She is always sensitive to how I am feeling as we do the movements of the day.

Sometimes we use music and it feels wonderful to be ‘dancing’. (Often in a chair, but also standing at my kitchen counter, holding on for safety). She has a way of addressing the areas in specific need of attention without ever making our sessions dull. Incidentally, my husband suffered a shoulder injury and, for several months, Lynn provided weekly sessions for him that were essential to his recovery. We are in concert in our gratitude and admiration of Lynn as a person and a professional. She is a gem!

I was referred to Lynn by a well-connected manager at Mt. Auburn Hospital to help with range of motion and lymphedema issues after surgery. Lynn knew what she was doing from the get-go. Over a few months, and with gentle but hard work, I made huge progress. She is also a really good listener.

When I first went to see Lynn I was still reeling from a difficult surgery and the many different issues that I was struggling to recover from both mentally and physically. Lynn with her calm and reassuring demeanor connected with me immediately, and the somatic and Craniosacral massage work she has introduced me to has been a game-changer. It is offering me a connectedness, I didn't anticipate, with my body and my mind. All the while gently urging me along the path of healing.

I have never been to a physical therapist before and it's safe to say Lynn has set the standard for me moving forward! I had hurt my back while rock climbing and while I was initially hesitant; Lynn was nothing less than professional and extremely personable! After about a month I had regained a lot of mobility and strength in my back. I whole heartily recommend checking out Lynn especially with her holistic approach to PT and follow-ups to make sure my treatment was right for me.

Lynn has been a real treasure to discover.

I live with chronic pain after a road accident I had more than a decade ago, and had done tons of disappointing rounds of PT, as well as tried so many healing modalities. I found traditional physical therapy so compartmentalized and cold, I never felt seen or really supported, almost like I was seen as a robot - till I found Lynn.

Lynn is bringing such depth of understanding of anatomy, together with a huge variety of integrative tools, and keeps approaching my body challenges with a holistic view, curiosity, patience and care.

With her support, I’m finding myself return to level of ability I often feared I might have lost for good, as well as expanding my awareness of the connectivity of my body.

I feel so relieved to have found her, totally recommend her!
